REMs partnering together to lose weight
At our annual REM meeting last week me, Helen and Myke decided to partner and encourage each other in another attempt to lose our extra weight. We decided to start Monday so this weekend is our last hurrah. We went out for dinner tonight for Valentine's Day. I ate a chicken pita sandwich and drank about a gallon of water. If I can get about 30 lbs off, I'll be happy and content. At my age I don't need to be pencil thin. I'm just trying to fit into my clothes comfortably again...and not have to wear the biggest sizes in my closet. Wish us well!!!

Sure will be nice to have some support as we face the long journey to losing these 40 lbs -- again! I've developed a Good Health Journal for us, as I thought it sounded better than a Food Journal. I never liked the tracking aspect of Weight Watchers, although I fully realize the importance of it. Here we go!

ReplyDeleteChanged time zone to Eastern for the majority of our group. ;) I also authorized Helen and Myke as "authors" so we all have the same rights. Myke and Teri did well today with our eating, however, we didn't talk about exercising. Does talking on the phone, i.e., exercising my mouth, count? I'll have to get on the elipical tonight after I type up my Isle report and send it off! Have a good night!
